When first looking at the main display of the Unagi Model One, you may find yourself a little confused to what all the symbols may mean. In the following article, we hope to clear up any confusion that you may have and explain the little details that may have gone unnoticed.
How can I tell my speed?
The first and possibly the most obvious gauge on the display of the Unagi Model One is the speedometer which should read out in MPH from the factory. For those who are more familiar with reading in Kilometres rather than miles, this can be changed rather simply by holding down the two buttons located on the right and left of the display. These would be the buttons that generally control the horn and the odometer.
What is the number below the speedometer?
Just below the speedometer of the scooter is a value measured in distance. "What is this?" you may ask; this value should dictate either the mileage of the current journey or the total mileage of the scooter. You can switch between these two readings by a simple press of the button located on the right handlebar (just above the throttle).
And the symbol to the left...
If a little wheel is visible on the display of the Unagi Model One (just to the left of the odometer) your scooter is in duel motor mode. This really does what it says on the tin; the scooter can either be ridden with both motors active or only the rear. You can alternate between these two settings by double pressing the power button at any time.
A battery indicator?
This is probably one of the more obvious symbols on the face of this scooter. The battery indicator has several bars which will gradually reduce as the battery runs low, whilst, the white will turn to red once the battery has reached the very low stage.
What's the 1,2 and 3 about?
The final note worthy aspect of the display on the Unagi Model One is the number which is located just above the power button. These settings dictate the max achievable speed of the electric scooter with '1' being the slowest speed and '3' being the quickest. These settings can be cycled through by double pressing the button above the throttle.
